Released in 1993, "Reign of the Tec" was the debut single by The Beatnuts, off of the Intoxicated Demons EP. The song and music video got a lot of airplay at the time, which lead to the single reaching #50 on the Hot Rap Singles Chart. "Reign of The Tec" featured a vocal sample from Sadat X of Brand Nubian fame, and is considered one of The Beatnuts greatest classics.
