The TR 808 is the vintage drum machine responsible for creating some of the earliest dance records starting in the late 1970's. Think "Jam On It" by Nucleus. The Beatnuts used this machine on many of their songs and it's currently used in heavy rotation on most Trap records you hear. This is an homage to the funky 808!
